Dear All,
My friend is working in a Public Limited Company, due to bad Co. culture(abusing language used in office, HR policies not as committed in offer letter) he was searching a new job which he got recently. The new Co. wants him to join asap so officially the Notice period in his present Co. is 3 months, but my friend is giving 15 days. And due to critical profile his present Co. is not allowing to relieve him.Also they are threatening him that they will ruin his career and will give a wrong reference check. And hes only an employee but they will take revenge on a Co. to Co. level.Also they will not relieve him before 3 months. But the next Co. is not willing to wait that long. What should we do?
Also to bring to your notice my friend was very much stressed due to the Culture and took some leaves from the Co. for medical advice. The co. is now saying that all that was fake.

Best is to pay back the notice period pay and get relieved. Read your appointment order thoroughly. It will have this clause of buy out option.
