I have query regarding ESIC ,if a employee done is fathers treatment in without esic referral hospital like (hart treatment) then how to gate the medical reimbursement from the esic.
Is he entitle to get medical benefit or not

1. Sir, ESI Dispensary to which you/your father (being your family member) is attached ( the detail of family members will be available in the ESIC Identity Card issued as Family Identity Card) is the authorised office to refer any insured person or his family member to other referral hospital for treatment.
2. Therefore, in my opinion, while your any family member is admitted in any of Hospitals due to emergency, you may contact concerned ESI Dispensary by having papers of admission in such hospital etc. and your/family ESIC Identity Card and request the Doctor Incharge to refer the patient to such Hospital as may consider it appropriate as per their instructions/policy.
3. To get reimbursement without referring the patients through ESI Dispensary, in my opinion, will not be acceeded to by authorities concerned.
