Dear Sir
after attaining age of 58 years one sr. staff is extended his services for two years more. Can we continue his p.f.deduction (both share in p.f. column & pension amount will be zero & we can fill-up 10-d for pension .whether legally it is o.k.

Dear Mr. Shailesh Pandey,
There is no age limit in EPF. But on the day of completion of 58 years, pension contribution is to be ceased and is eligible for pension along with salary. Accordingly full remittance is to be done to PF and form 10 D is to be submitted for pension claim.

Dear Sir
Thanking you for your correct advice. Kindly reply for my related question as given here.
In my previous company One person who has been attended 58 years though annual return (3-A) was submitted as regular staff's 3-a, P.F.official advised me to keep zero amount in pension section & 12% Employee &12% of Employer's contribution in P.F. column will be posted.though formalities for 10-D had been done to start pension.
same P.F.deduction was continued.
whether we should continue
