Termination letter for absconding employee
Dear all i would like to know a format where in we send to an employee who is absconding from the organisation even after sending absconding letter. a format where in we write "you have been termination due to absconding or not reporting to office" kindly help thanking you samreen .
Absconding case - need advise.
Hi i had joined in small company 1 month back and i had attended to office for 3 days after that due to some personal problems i cannot continue that job. now i want to keep resignation for that job. hr saying that we will take action of absconding in this case. what i have to do now? i need your suggestions.
Employee absconding- from which day of absence should one be considered absconding?
As per company policy any employee who is absent for more than 3 days without prior notice is termed as absconding employee. however initial 3 days are marked as lop. should those days be entered as absence days or lop days? and if the employee doesn t return to work should he be considered absconding from 1st day of absence or 4th day of absence? need advice from hr professionals. thanks in advance.

Dear all i have a query with reference to an employee who is absconding versus one who is to be terminated. i do understand the basic difference where the terminated employee is removed from the company due to nonperformance or other criteria. the absconding employee is one who has not reported to work over a period of time. my query here is up to how many days do we wait before issuing letters to the absconding employee and when do we send the final termination letter. there sometimes seems to be a very thin line of difference between the two cases as ultimately a termination letter is also sent out to the absconding employee. my next related query is as to how attrition is calculated. also do the terminated absconding employees who join and leave within 710 days or the first month also calculated towards the attrition. thanks anjana samuel

Re employment after absconding
Facts: worked for more than 2.5 yrs in a leading bpo absconded only because of the unfair treatment...needless to mention that employee cannot fight the management who is too smart to play on such things got job elsewhere however relieving letter from previous co. is pending.. so employee had paid all the dues as per f&f letter instead of relieving which was promised during a call with hr however not even service letter was issued instead a letter stating the absconding was issued due to which several other opportunities have been lost.so obviously cannot be presented to any other co. however a there is a threat in the current co too. questions: to abscond is definitely not the way to quit... however is it such a big crime that he/she should not get a job elsewhere? if yes for how long? for ever? is there any alternative? what does indian labor law says about it?
