Respected all,
I am working as EXECUTIVE SECRETARY in a US based concern
I will be having work in evening hours (IST) only
Most probably in morning sessions I wud be simply sitting and will surf in net :cry: :cry:
Now i dnt want to waste my time simply being idle

Can u seniors guide me in a right way that my time will be used effectively

Kindly Exploit Cite HR and get maximum download on various articles.
Choose a topic and build your competencies.
This will keep you engaged at the max.
Focus on getting knowledge on Six sigma, Time management, Stress management etc.
Other Options:
1. Learn a new language
2. Do some Computer course
3. Learn various Cooking styles
4. Draft your career path and update yourself 5% daily.
I hope u will end up in some idea from the Above.

As mentioned by Hari updating yourself is the best thing that you can do in the free, anyways if you have contacts and interest in doing recruitment you can do some free lancer recruitment or any other kind of free lancer jobs you can do, just browse few websites and try to find out...........

hi all,
I can go with hari's idea but i should be inside the office premises and i can't go with those 4 points...
As of now am searching CiteHR and downloading various infomration and looking at it and updating myself
But i need some more information that i can do within the office

Hi Ravi,
Mine is reporting and maintaining my CEO's (who is in US) schedule
Am also designated as Project Coordinator in which i'll be reporting the project related issues to my IT Manager who is in US and will be remaining about the issues to the Developers and related persons...
And moreover i'll be fixing appointments for the my company staffs with my CEO and manage the timings..
And i'll be assisting IT Manager, India CEO and Project Leader in any paper works..
I'll be assisting my HR Manager with some assignments
Also my company has engaged with H1B Visa processing for this i'll be contacting the candidates and will fix meeting with my CEO (who is in US)

Learn some books on project management, and in general some self improvement books, me got a whole lot of them, u can search and download through torrents ,websites.

Hi
You should enroll for some distance learning course preferably in HR (or any other faculty of your choice). You can study during morning hours. You can try Symbiosis - Pune. You can utilize the internet to your max. benefit for learning through emodules and referred course materials.
Exploring citehr is good. But if you enroll for some course, it will be more structured and value adding to your career.
