Why hr & admin club together in organisation ?
Dear all i dont understand why hr and admin under the same head ? hr & admin is not linked and related.admin job is most non technical & any graduate can also perform the duties with little or no experiencewhich is not the case for hr.hr is mostly performed by specialist and professionals. hr needs to have interpersonal skills communication skills listening abilities friendly considerate etc. wherein for admin you dont need any of these skills necessarily. most of the mid level/ lower level/start ups have admin and hr under the same banner to reduce cost. appreciate to have feedback of the seniors. thanks ab.

Job offer withdrawn by employer because of covid 19 - what should the candidate do now as he has already served notice period in previous organisation?
Hello one of my friend has received an offer from a company in the month of february 2020 and accordingly he resigned from the company he was supposed to join the new company on march 192020 but the new company postponed his joining due to corona pandemic and sent him a revised offer on march 19 2020 stating he can join them on or before april 20 2020 and so he do replied that he will be joining on april 152020. but now on april 9 2020 he received an email from the new employer that his offer has been withdrawn due to global scenario is it legal what should the candidate do now as he has already served notice period in previous organisation and has no other offer in hand. what actions can the candidate take against this organisation.
Defining hr and distinguishing it from admin in a not-for-profit organisation where resistance to new process is quite good and high!
Dear hr friends i work for a notforprofit organisation which works very closely with the govt. as an am hr. i joined here very recently and after joining i found that here hr is only known as hr but the hr function is known to be doing the admin job. where i got the job to define hr function while imparting tnd and more. and also i found two types of people here one is the old people / old employees mostly in senior manager level feels that they are the best and they are not suppose to work but only to put their work on the team while taking the credit on themselves. this team is not ready for any change as they feel all is so good and they are comfortable and they have grown to the max. the second category is the young team that works under this team with a hell lot of energy and enthusiasm and much more ambition to grow not only professionally but overall. so i am really finding it difficult to form my kra now as i am not sure what all should i do to make the presence of hr feel while making some real good changes in the organisation which will lead the betterment of the organisation and will also help everyone grow with it . one more resistance here is the attitude of senior/old employees are like govt. officials which is really in need of some change. hope to get some help and suggestion here so that i can take up this challenge successfully.
