2. I hope you will search the minimum wages fixed in the website of State Govt. of UP authority as created under rules framed by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh under provisions of the Minimum Wages Act, 1948.
3. The term "appropriate government" has been defined under section 2(b) of said Act and the Central Government is the appropriate government only in respect of railway administration, mine, oil-fields or major ports or any corporation established by a Central Act etc.
