Dear All,
Discrimination as a word is distasteful to professionals. However, it is true that most companies still have some inherent biases that have been woven into the texture of the company's culture through the beliefs that the company's Top Management demonstrate. It is high time that Professionals learn to respect Talent and Ability along with the Willingness to work and perform on the job, and not the individual's gender, appearance or Sexual Preference at work. In my humble opinion, these are not even to be discussed as these are extremely personal topics and to be handled sensitively, should they ever be brought in the open. It is only that companies should realize that performance takes precedence over prejudice.

Hi,

I did quite a bit of study before I could comment on your straight forward query.

Work culture with Ethics, Understanding company policies & procedure manuals, integrity, respect at workplace , commitment does always matters to professionals like us. We being a professional must eliminate discrimination which helps everyone to have an equal opportunity to work and to develop the talents & skills irrespective of what gender we are....

Tackling discrimination helps to attract, motivate and retain staff and enhances an organization’s reputation as an employer. That's the goal of every organization and each employee...

Employers are encouraged to consider their policies and procedures to respect the sensitivity of the individual's sexual orientation and the importance of maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Believing in one of the core values "Respect at workplace ", I strongly feel - workers of all sexual orientations should feel welcome and safe in their workplace and the dignity of all should be respected.

Everyone has the right to be respected at Workplace, there's no say beyond it. TALENT : that's the want of this WORLD.....
