if i say training... director will say yes... but accounts says its time consuming and waste of money... MD says no to training. Director is ready for change and improvement, but MD,his father .. aBIG NO to change.

THANSK FOR UR REPLY.
I DOUBT ... WHY COMPANIES LIKE THIS APPOINT HR PERSONA WHEN THEY DONT KNOW THE VALUE OF THE DEPARTMENT.
IN MY PREVIOUS COMPANY IWAS GIVEN ASSIGNMETNS LIKE EMPLOYEE PULSE SURVEY, PMS, MUCH EMPHASIS ON TRAINING BOTH TECHNICAL AS WELL AS NON TECHNICAL... WE STRATED SOMANY OD INTERVENTIOS LIKE SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES, SENSITIVITY TRAINING, AND MANY OTHERS.EVERY BODY IN THAT COMPANY WANTED TO CHANGE ..... WE OUR DEPARTMENT ACTED AS CHANGE AGENT. . SOMUCH TO LEARN THERE.
I THINK STILL MANY COMPANIES THINK HR MEANS PAYROLL,STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS, RECRUITMENT AND RETRENCHMENT... ONLY FEW FIRMS SEE HR IN LAGRE PICTURE.
AM I WRONG.

Dear
This is your acid test in your present company . Stay there . Persuade your management and show them benefits of HR practice i.e. maximum productivity with employees satisfaction . Ones you get success you will be able to implement HR practice independently and I think it will help you in your future. BEST OF LUCK .

Dear Friend,
my advice to you is to stick for sometime, learn whatever the computer incharge is doing. try to know how is the process. Have a good realation with them instead of u showing fustration. I know that emotional alway play a role at this particular time be smart try to know most of the thing which they are doing, which is your job to do. You will have a brief exposure. Relax... dear....
Just think that u are there for a few moments just to earn money and at the same time keep looking for some good profile where u can take up challenges and at the same time groom ur self in that position.
Life is Beautiful enjoy it...................
Take care....

Dear Sowjanya ,
There are man organisations which have to undergo a transiton from personal to H.R . You could be the one who is initaiting this change
Try and relate what you want to do directly with the business goals
of the organisaiton and rope in the right decision makers.
Am sure if you survive and face this challenge you would be a
very successful H.r Professional
These are my views on your current situation , hope they will be of some
assistance

Hi Sowganya,
Great !!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes really great. Frankly every person would not get such a challenging profile. You have to swim aganist the current. Sit and take time. Slowly and diplomatically try to bring a change around yourself first. Then slowly implement it to you close associate in the department. But firstly, you should be convinced of what you are doing and start implementing.
I assure you, if you have confidence in you came what may you can bring a change in this organisation.
GOOD LUCK.
