sir,
Due to wage revision with retrospective effect, in between for earlier period, the wage comes down and the due comes in negative. because of this, the PF and pension contribution goes negative. Whether the pension contribution made earlier in excess can be adjusted now.

Wage rivision with retrospective effect would still be higher than what was paid earlier. In case an interim increase was done, final would be higher than interim. How did the salary go down ?
Or did you change the salary structure with retrospective effect to contain PF contributions ?

sir, Initially from NE-4 to NE-6 was given. However, due to court order, the wage was fixed from NE-4 to Ne-5 and to NE-6. Hence, the wage reduction. hope it will clear my position. regards,

Whoever can understand what NE4, NE5 and NE6 means can help you out. Do you expect to get a solution when you don’t bother to even give proper details and don’t give explanation?

Dear Sandhyaa, If you are talking about EPF, PF contribution can’t be reduced. Probably you are in some public sector. What ever is applicable to that organisation will be applicable to you.

Your query is not understandable. If you are really seeking the advice or opinion from the experts, you should come out with the genuine fact. Abbreviations used is not followed by us and as such it is not a common word to under rand. I predict that this may be of your Grade and scale of pay. The reasons for changing the NE-4 and NE-5 and NE-6 is better known to you rather than others to understand. No where in the labor laws these abbreviations are mentioned.
In any case any revisions the Provident Fund contributions shall remain the same as stipulated in the scheme. This scheme is formulated not in anybody's single interest but in the interest of whole citizens of India.
