If one quotes his UAN in the new establishment.it will prove that he was a PF member .He then cannot claim to be an excluded employee even if his salary is above Rs 15000/-pm and gives Form 11.

Dear Mr. Mathew,
In the form 11 he will declare that he is member of EPF and EPS.
If he declare in form 11 that he is not member of EPS, he cannot be member of EPS, if his salary is above 15K. IF in new establishment his salary is below 15 K, previously if he was not member of EPS, now he will be member of EPS as PF wages are below 15 K

Dear HRs

As Mr. Nilesh explained, becuase of this UAN concept, employee can not with draw if he changes the organization(before 60days, but before UAN he can with draw by mentioning the reason for leaving as Resignation/Personal), because after joining in to the new org he has to confirm whether he is subscribing for PF first time(new UAN will be alloted), or he is already subscribed member earlier, if so he must be alloted the UAN in previous org, he has to mention the UAN. So it menas EPFO will have the info whether the employee has the 60 days of non contributions to approve the Payment of with drawl applied by employee in cas eof his wishes to with draw the amount though he has been contributing on a new PF account. Ideally EPFO should reject the claims of with drawls if there is non gap of 60days.

Will have to experience how EPFO act on this. If they don't reject the claim of employees whose non contributions of 60day continuously, what is the use of PF act says there should be continuous 60days of non contributions to get the PF with drawl"

Dear All,
Please note that PF was acting as per declaration given in the application form 19, that I am not member of EPF where EPF act applicable for last two 60 days.
Previously, all the record was maintained manually.
Now, as the member has withdrawn the EPF by giving false declaration, he cannot continue the same UAN as the a/c will be marked as Settled. And he has to give declaration in form 11 that EPF withdrawn and will have to allot new UAN.
If the member has withdrawn only EPF and not withdrawn EPS, can transfer his EPS to New UAN.
According to me UAN can be continue till member has not withdrawn the EPF amount. Once he withdraw the EPF, he has to get net UAN in new establishment. Therefore to say UAN will be same for life time is not correct.
There is no Transfer activity as UAN activity in implemented. Only member will inform UAN to new establishment and PF will be accumulated to his UAN.

Dear Vidyadar,
UAN is for life time only. Even you withdrawn the amount after 60 days. Once you joined the new organization after two months, the same UAN will be continued with 0 balance. No need to get new UAN again. Once UAN is allotted, you may continue with the same no. until you retire.

1. Our is a new company started PF contribution from Feb'14 last year. The online acknowledgement we recieve is after 2.5 to 3 months. Now also I have got acknowledgement upto Oct'14 only whereas we have paid challan amount of Jan-15 month also. Will someone guide what is to be done in such case.
2. For acquiring UAN no, i tried to upload UAN no but it is asking for Digital signature and after putting the digital signature it shows some error as to install JAVA to upload. Please guide as to which version to install in this.

Dear Mr.Jagdeepchopra, You just delete the java version what you have in your system and then install -" java version 7 update 51 32 bit ". digital signature will work after that.

Hi sir,
Currently I am working in Samsung c&t,recently my present employer asked me UAN number ,I gave him.he kept a request for linking my present id to UAN.In form 11 I gave wrong date of leaving previous organization because I had only 9 month of experience in previous organization.At time of joining company asked me one year experience to get a job so I gave instead of march 2014 to june 2014.Now my current employer requires approval from previous organization inorder to link my present pf id to UAN.I kept 3 more months fake Payslips and reliving letter by editing from friend.How to get out of this situation.Can I say to my present Hr that don’t know about my date of leaving details because I break the bond of 2 years so that’s why they are not approved.so can I say to them I need new UAN.Is there any problem for my current job

-Dear All,
I was wrong in my above posting dated 16-09-2014.
UAN is remain same even the EPF is withdrawn.
There is no need of transfer. Only new employer your UAN no is to be provided in form 11.
