I am Revathi, working as an HR Executive in an IT company. I would like to source candidates from Timesjobs.com or Monster.com database access plans. Comparing the two job portals, I have found a lot of variation. I want to know which job portal is good and better for IT sourcing.

I have used all job portals extensively. The major ones like Naukri and Monster are equally good. Please understand that the job portal will provide you with what candidates write in their resumes. They will also mention their key skills. Then, you can search based on the keywords provided. Therefore, the overall output depends on the candidates' own information. Most candidates may not present their information in a proper fashion. Thus, after the initial search, you will have to make your own efforts to assess the skill level of each candidate.
Please do not expect the portal to select a candidate for you. If you are posting job openings, the skills you list are very important. Similar to any product, you need to use impactful words. I have applied skills learned from 'Copywriting' in my job postings, and they have been quite successful.
