Hello Expert, I am new on Citehr community and also new joinee. I have questions regarding to my job currently i am working with contractor he is a labour supplier at huge level. Currently he gave me work of leave management then he will give me work of PF, ESI ,Various chhalans and other legal too.So, could my experience is valid as an HR and one thing is he gave me hand to hand salary not in a salary slip.that is why i am worried.i learned something new every day please help me experts...
And what other things are including regarding to my job...?

Sir,
1. You must study various labour laws as are applicable to your establishment. Copies of various labour laws can be downloaded from the website of Ministry of Labour & Employment and also from the concerned departments of State Government, where your establishment is located.
2. It will be also better if you also study HR literature on the subject.

Thank you so much for your crucial suggestion i will surely follow it..But couldn i know my experience will be preferable or not when i left this job ? because my contractor will not provide salary slip he provide me only experience certificate.Thankx for your crucial suggestions .but my main querry is my contractor will not give salary slip so can my experience will be count in other company ?? when i will leave office they provide me only Experience certificate.So would it preferrable?

Dear Parth,
Knowing labour laws as well as its application in practical field will enhance your knowledge which is a part of HR activity. But main concern is that your employer is not issuing you pay slip and probably they are giving your wages in cash.It is not clear from your comments as to whether you have received any appointment letter or not. It is not also clear that as to whether you are signing in the wage sheet while disbursing your wages in cash.Are you member of PF and ESI ?
Under the above circumstances, you should learn thoroughly all labour laws as applicable in your organisation and look for a suitable opening / change in due course.
Don't get upset at this juncture but try to find a better opportunity.

I have recently join this organisation but, Sir my question is my employer didnt give any appointment letter for the job and he will not give me any pay slip...So,if i left my job after getting 1 or 2 years of experience at that time my experience will be preferable or not ???
