Hi All,
I'm working as a HR Coordinator in a construction co. based in Dubai. I'm about to complete a year in this co. and the Performance Appraisal is about to begin.
I'm least satisfied with the job as my job involves kind of Secretarial / support work and I dont see any future in this company with regards to HR. There is no seperate HR Dept. and I'm in the Admin. Dept (& I'm the only guy with a HR Designation).
What should I do - quit? And should I mention in the Performance Appraisal Questionnaire that I have plans to quit?

As said by peerji, express your views at the time of your appraisal & still if the things don’t satisfy you.. You can opt for other options... Regards, Kanupriya
You have not been a year in the job and you want to quit?!
A grasshopper will not gain experience, let me assure you. Furthermore, at this moment in time ,unless you can get a NOC no other company will hire you.
You are gaining experience as you are doing the job and handling HR. Be patient, experience is not gained easily or within a blink of an eye.
At your appraisal /PPD let your concerns and expectations be voiced...but positively.
