Hi Team,
I was unwell for a while and the company terminated me on disciplinary grounds for taking sick leaves. There were 2 sick leaves left in my kitty at the time I was terminated that is on the 1st of August.
The termination letter is from the operation manager and not the HR Team. Also they are only giving me a week's pay. I was on probation and worked in the organization for 7 months.
I was very sick and most of the employees at work knew how sick I was. However during the period on 14 June till 1 August, I had not taken any leaves.
Yet, without notice, I was terminated.
How can I get the company to pay for for the loss of job? I was expecting at least a month's salary.

What does your appointment letter say about the notice period when the employee is in probation and how many days notice is to be given by both the parties?
You may have completed 7 months in the company, but till they confirm you in written, you cannot be called a confirmed employee.
Also who had signed your Appointment Letter, the operation head or the HR team. In some companies, the operation head also heads the HR department and usually signs the letters.
Check the above and you will find answers to your own query.
