Greetings Seniors,
I have got an offer to work for a reputed 'client' of a consultant for a permanent position.
The consultancy claims that I have to be under their payroll to proceed further.
If I were to accept it, who shall contribute to my PF & who will give me the relieving letter or experience certificate. How shall my performance be appraised?
I assume that the consultant would be the point of contact for any concerns.
Please throw some light on the benefits and setback of this kind of employment.
Thank you.
Regards,

Hi
If at all you are working through the consultant then you will be paid by the consultant only. The contractor will pay the wages. Based on the performance you may get the right appraisal. All PF, ESI & other statutory will be followed by the contractor only.
Benefits may be like you will get the experience and even the primary company may hire you on requirement
