Hi Nidhi,

MIS report is known as Management Information System... regarding the Manpower status of a particular month, place and overall..

It helps the Management in decision making.. like what are the reasons of resignation.. in which area attrition is high.. and so many things to help in decision making.. with the help of MIS you may prepare a lot of reports.. Like annual attrition.. region wise attrition.. region wise manpower.. graphical representation of regions manpower status.. and so on..

You may prepare the same at your end.As it will help you to prepare other such formats too.

I am describing you the contents with sheet wise..

First Sheet-

Details of employee

a. E.Code b. Name of employee

c. Date of birth d. Designation e. CTC

f. Address for communication

g.Permanent address h. Contact number

i. Blood group j. Maximum qualification

k. Extra qualification l.Total Experience

Second Sheet-

Salary structure

In this sheet write down the complete salary structure.. and make a column what is salary after any revision

Third Sheet -

New Joinees

In this sheet write down the name of New joinees of that month with detail

like

CTC,

Designation,

DOB n etc.

Forth Sheet -

Resigned employees

In this sheet write the name of employees who resigned during

that particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining,

Date of resignation, last working day.

Fifth sheet -

Attrition rate

Based on this MIS report, you may find out the attrition report, Qualification analysis reports, team management reports and so on can prepare a number of reports..

Hi Nidhi,
Welcome.. :D
You have done a good Job..
Only thing that i assume is there is some changes required in Salary Part as well as resigned employees..
In salary sheet you may go ahead with the below mentioned details, which includes all the details in a row..
Moreover in resigned sheet, it is not required to give the complete details of the employees.. But it can be helpful too for preparing the attrition rate in terms of education terms..
So will say you may go ahead with the same sheet of resigned employees or may adopt only some of the contents..

Hi Nidhi,
Attrition Rate = No. of resigned of that month/ Available manpower * 100
For example, if in any of the starting day of previous month the manpower was 80 and during that month 5 resigned and 10 joined.. then on the last day of the month Manpower would be 80-5+10 = 85
So Attrition rate = 5/85*100
So now coming to the point how it will help to calculate various attrition rate..
see in your resignation sheet it is been mentioned the education details and other more details.. so like wise we can get data of resigned employees on various aspects.. And based on those facts may prepare a number of attrition reports.. which required further in decision making and other analysis..

Hi Amit...

Thank for the reply again....i am...need to know few thing

1.) I am maintain consultants on going status for my company that will be included as a MIS?

like i am maintaing an up-dated status for all the candidate who is send by which consultant so that will be part of MIS?

2.) Next this i am also working on a software for application for candidate who are schedule for interview or to be interviewed and the one shortlisted so that will be included as a part of MIS? or something else.....

3.) what to do with the details mentioned on MIS report that like details are they also helpful in calculation for attrition rate ; means how are these helpful as we can calculate the rate as who are their and who has left the company because every company has record for that then why we maintain that on a separate sheet and make things more complicated as in my software also i can know who have joined us and from attendance sheet i can com to know who are working and who all have left the organization......then why to keep a separate record for each....and with so much column

4.) Lastly, why these are used DoB Designation CTC Adress of communication Premanent Adress Contact Number Blood group Maximum Qualification Extra Qualification Total Experience
