Dear Friends,
We have a new joinee in Client Servicing. In her resume it is mentioned she is a graduate, but she doesn't have any educational certificates to submit. Not even a xerox. Its been 3 weeks since her joining. We dont know what to do in this situation. She is not willing to get a duplicate copy from University. She has left it up to us to take a decision. We have recruited her through a placement agency. Though her work is satisfactory for now, How shall we proceed ? We are a small organisation of about 25 people.

It so happens that at times even a graduate can not give you the satisfaction that a non-graduate /under graduate can give. If your company's policy is to recruit only graduates, then why was the due diligence not done before recruiting her. If it is not gonna cause any problem later on for her and the Company, you might as well retain her. She is working to your satisfaction and that is what you want. You have to tell her that he increments, promotions and other benefits will suffer because she can not provide the Graduation documents.
