Hi,
My query is under the payment on Gratuity.
One employee( age 30 yrs) who has completed only one year of service. His present basic is Rs 10000/- At the age of 30 he died.
My query is ... whether this employee is eligible for gratuity? if yes, how to calculate, do let us know the formula.
your early reply with some court judgement will highly helpful to me.

Dear All,
My query is about operations of Gratuity.
In case member has completed minimum service required for Gratuity but has not claimed for.
While renewal of the Gratuity with LIC, LIC has adjusted withdrawal benefit.
After few years member claimed for Gratuity. LIC has no record for the same as they have cleared the case.
How to keep track of Payment of Gratuity ?
If LIC pays the Gratuity and clear the case. After few years Member re-claims the Gratuity.
If there is any time limit to claim for Gratuity ?
One member has left Company after 10 yrs. Did not claimed for Gratuity. Can he claim gratuity after 5 yrs ? Who will keep record for payment of Gratuity is done or Not ?
