Dear Member FYI,

We are doing a new activity for Improvement and educating for workers & staff also " SAFETY OFFICER 4 ONE DAY"

We have wrote all workers name individual slip and kept in box for lucky draw.

Every morning after safety prayer The Project Manager/ Plant Head/Safety HOD Opening a slip for "ONE DAY SAFETY OFFICER" from workers side.

The worker will safety officer for one day and gives observation to safety In-charge , one worker will be safety officer for one time only . all workers will take chance for safety officer post for one day.if they have any problem ,they can talk/discuss direct to HOD safety/Area In-charge Safety.

we observed after 6 month above 180 workers habitual work with our system, they were following all safety rules and giving advise to others like new workers.

So , I think ,this is regular activity for improvement in Health,safety and Environment.

If Possible,we can applicable for all our construction sites and Plants.

how can we implement this in a port where all work are carried out by a contract workers? and the workers keep on changing ?
