Dear All,
I am Praveen , my query is I got offered reputed software company. I resigned in current company. They are asking to me to serve the notice period of two months.
But i want early leaving.Even i am not having any work in presentt company .How can i handle the situation. please suggest me.

Hi Praveen,

Many of the software employees being faced this problem. A company or any management can ask its employee to serve the notice period according to the Certified Standing Orders from the Certifying Officer. You can ask them to show that, and before you going for a discussion with them i can suggest you to go through the appointment letter, whether it is mentioned regarding the notice period in any of the clauses or not. If you have agreed so at the time of joining you might have no other choice rather than serving the notice period.

Before you talking to the management please know the policies and previous scenario in this regard. If someone intentionally not allowing you to go please let the management know the situation and let them know that you are not assigned to any specific work. it must be in a pleasing way.

It is the employee the ultimate looser who fights against the management, my sincere advise is to please them and get smooth relieving.

With Best Regards

Ravichandra
