I am working in a retail sector as a HR Manager. As you know there are staffs of skilled/semi skilled and unskilled persons. The unskilled members are of low qualification, hence they have to be supervised by the HR everyday, otherwise their seniors come to the HR and complaint against them. As the previous HR was little strict, but I am quite liberal in nature and I can't be rude and I think if work is done by saying it politely, then why to get rude.
But others do not like this attitude, but the lower grade people like me and never deny for anything that I say. But the mid level staffs believes they should be under observation every time, though they do all the work in their working time. What should I do, please suggest!

The goal is getting the job done. Your approach is yielding positive results. So keep following the same. But at the same time, be strict if indiscipline comes in. Shiv
