I am looking towards leveraging social media for recruitment and employer branding for NIIT Technologies.
I have some questions regarding how do the companies measure the ROI of social recruiting. Also, which all companies have been successful in carrying out this unique initiative, what are some of their key improvement statistics and how have they managed to do what they do in this sphere.

Milind - You might want to also reach out to your connections on LinkedIn and get some insights. Ideal if you can reach out to the marketing teams of MNC's in India since they usually have numbers to share.
A few months ago, I was involved with an India headquartered MNC that wanted to brand their job advertisements and the topic of ROI cropped up and I discovered the ROI from social media (LinkedIn is professional medium and not social like Twitter/Facebook/YouTube/pay per click) is much lower (inspite of the higher effort) than traditional recruitment channels
