Hi all,
I would like to seek guidance from experienced members about labour laws applicable to foreign national working in India. If a foreign national appointed by a foreign company on a construction project (which is joint venture with Indian company) in India, does Indian labour law apply to him? Can you please point out applicable laws?

indian labour laws are not applicable for foreign employees why because they will appoint on contact basis not on permanent basis and i think mostly they are for particular period of time of stay.
