Dear All,
I am a Chemical Engineer (B.E. + M.E.- BITS, PILANI) with 4 yrs of work experience as a Production Engineer in Cement Industry. I am now looking forward to make a career in HR. In order to support my transition, i am currently pursuing PGDBA- HR from SCDL & Diploma in Training & development- ISTD.
My query is, will my candidature be accepted for the HR position/s ? and secondly, can i get to work in HR while i am still pursuing the PGDBA & Diploma ? It would be even greatful if somebody can suggest me openings in HR at plant/manufacturing locations of executive/officer level.
Thank You very Much.
Regards,
Nikhil

Dear Nikhil,
There is no specific HR Professional Course in India. All Universities framed the the HR MBA course as Master Degree wherein you will learn thorough terminology and flow of work to execute and manage. Doctor,Engineer, Chartered Accountant Management Accountant, Company Secretary professional courses are specially constituted and have their Statutes in Indian Constitution. No doubt you are a Professional Engineer (BE + ME). You have knowledge of your subjects. The spirit of woking and experience in line will keep you as Professional. I suggest you to start your HR job from your present company. Request your employer to deploy your self in HRD.
I offer Counter against to my above lines from my friends.
