Good Afternoon.
Can anyone let me know the difference between IR(Industrial Relations) and ID act.I know there a Act called Industrial Dispute Act, one of the Important subject/ Act which deals with Industrial disputes and other Issues.
Similarly, I would like to know about IR and how it would helps to organisations

Apart from Industrial Disputes Act 1947, some States like Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh have enacted Acts like Bombay Industrial Relations Act and M.P Industrial Relations Act. They basically deal with recognition of trade unions and collective bargaining procedures, industrial disputes etc. I do not know whether the A.P State has enacted similar law.
