I have joined in one MNC as a senior software engineer. First day I was involved in joining formalities and induction program and second day I was allocated one project which I am not satisfied so I asked them to give a better project but they forced me and put into that. Third day I felt very uncomfortable to continue and it don\'t have much scope so spoke to manager that I gonna quit as I have another offer which has better scope. And they are accepted it and gave 8 days as notice period . The problem is since the notice period for that company is 60 days so they are asking me to pay for remaining 52 days. I have followed as the policy but they haven\'t discussed anything regarding this payment. Please help me how to handle this?
So, as you said that, you have just completed 3-4 days, so, you must be on probation period.
Therefore, just check your employment / appointment letter, it will give you the clear pict. about it. generally notice period is differe from probation to confirmat. Normally, probation period having not more than, 15 days notice period.
