Giving extension of 1:30 hr is fine instead who not declaring holiday on the polling day i.e 10/4/2014 for IT employees of Maharashtra is it as per Section 134 of the the Representation of People\'s Act.The rules state the section will not apply to any elector whose absence may cause danger or substantial loss in respect of employment in which he is engaged.Is this relief suitable as per this section?
In my experience with many reputed companies in India, they allow the bonafide voters (read employees) to exercise their franchise and come back to duty thereafter. They even provide conveyance facilities for their convenience.
