Hi all,
I have to calculate Professional Tax and TDS on this month. So i am confused about the calculation . Please help me. My doubts are..
1. Whether Gross Salary including LOP or not ?
2. or Whether Professional Tax / TDS is calculating after deducting LOP ?
thank you

Please kindly understand that irrespective of LOP , you shall be paying salary for present days. Therefore you have to show only present days salary and calculate on profession tax on gross salary only.
Secondly TDS is calculated on gross salary and not LOP. Therefore you shall be calculating either TDS or PT on gross salary irrespective of LOP and on only present days salary.
Hope doubt is clarified.

Yes.... It is true..... but if any employee joined company in June and his salary is calculated with professional tax slab of government. Then is it necessary to pay professional tax for whole year at the end of march....?
is there any extra amount payable in the month of march....?
