Dear all we have a garment export unit in roorkee where more than 500 empoyees are working. as per factory rule 1950 we have to engage doctor/nurse. no doctor/nurse ready to work in factory. we have tie up with near by hospital and done agreement and they will provide all facility of doctor/nurse. doctor will visit the factory thrice in a week and nurse will available during working hours in daily basis. if nurse is not available b. farma can engaged for that. it will fulfil our requrement or not under factory rules.

Hi everyone we have the three manufacturing units of our company in haryana one premises unit1 unit2 and unit3 and employees are working in all units and at present we have the three separate factory licence. but we have merge the electricity connections of three units into one now our management decided to merge all units into one so that we can take the one factory licence in future. please tell me the procedure for merger of units.

Dear all myself and my friend have started a small garment manufacturing unit under partnership firm in name of our wife in bangalore. presently employed 3 tailors working on piece rate basis 1 supervisor under monthly salary and 1 helper under weekly wages totally 5 people we 2 working as a managers. pls help me in clarifying below 1 do i have to register my unit under shop and establishment act or factory act. i understand that registration under factory act required for above 9 employees but my unit is a manufacturing garments hence the confusion. kindly clarify 2 do i have to regester for pf and esi 3 do i have to deduct tds from the employees. thanking you. dinesh
