Dear Seniors,
Please help me to withdraw my Pf, I was employed in a company at Umergaon, Vapi, Gujarat, I have worked there since Feb. 2011 to Apr. 2012, I had applied for my Pf Settlement,. i got to know from the PF Office by mail and also verbally that only my one month salary is remitted there and hence it won\'t be withdrwal, when i asked to my company they sent me a copy of receipt of PF Office with stamp which shows that Pf remitted for March 2011 to March 2012. so please tell me how can i withdraw my PF amount and to whom i should contact in this matter to settle.

Dear Dhaneshwar,
Generaly, when applicable is been rejected due to any reason, the intimation letter directly goes to company & one copy to respective employees.
As your company provided you the copy which they have submitted, but, its employer duty to responce to PF office on their quries as remittance of PF is submitting to Pf on time to time is employer responsibility not as employee.
still if you want to follow up directly with PF dept. then, you may make reply letter on received mail from PF & attached the provided documents or evidence to them for their further process.

Dear Mr.

You need to make complaint with grievances Cell of PF Office with the following documents:



1. Your Last Pay Slip/Certificate ( where in the PF Deduction is mentioned)

(attach Bank Statement of your Salary account, as an additional proof)

2. Every PF Payer must raise an challan to pay the monthly dues by ECR System

Mention the Monthly Paid "TRRN" Receipts numbers and the Bank and Branch

where the challan was remitted to EPF A/c - details



Make a simple complaint with PF Office to verify your account and to get back the money.

Request note to all HR officials (those who are not aware of the following procedure):

Advise all your employees to get registered with EPFO - Epfo (Govt. of India) (EPF online portal)

EPFO has given a provision to download the members passbook to verify the monthly remittances.

From the above Log on - please click on Members Portal :

Please not down your PF Office circle and your Account No before you start

Choose your document box user need to select one document

(authorized by Government of India :PAN, PP, Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card)

The user need to enter the document number and mobile number for registering and

click on GET PIN to receive a 4 digit PIN No on your above mobile and proceed for registering,

For down loading your Pass Book:

Click on Download E Passbook menu, select the State and City by drop down menu.

(Which the establishment is registered in Provident fund organization)

User’s are required to enter their PF account number as below example

AP HYD 0012345 000 0000123

First two boxes are related to the state and city code

third box is the companies / establishment code,

fourth box is always need to fill with “000”,

fifth box will be the employees PF account number and that should be 7 digit number.

After entering the Code, click on GET PIN to receive a 4 digit PIN number by registered mobile

After receiving security code, enter and click on Get details icon to receive the link.

Finally click on the link to download Members Passbook

Dear Tushar Ji/ N Sharma ji,
This is the negligence and irresponsibility of the Company HR that they dont see how the employee suffers, in my case i had telecon with the Company HR Persons and also lodged a complained in PF Office, My 3rd Complaint registration no. at Pf Office is SROVP/E/2014/00126, Dtd. 27.02.14 and the mail sent to P.K Tiwari, EPF Officer, Vapi. no body either from company or from EPF office listens my complains. even they dont reply. so please tell me the way to solve this matter . Second thing is that i have not kept my salary slip as it is already been 2 years and lost, only i have the salary bank statement.
Looking forward your suggestion to slove the matter

Dear Sahoo
Every EPFO will have an ADALAT on every month to take up unresolved cases and to help them.
Please inquire and file the case in Adalat. In my experience 90% cases were solved by this way.

IT appears in your case that for PF accounting purpose three years are involved i.e. 2010-11 (Feb-2011) and 2011-12 (March-11 to Feb-2012) and 2011-13 (March-12 & April-12 in yr Case) and the PF department saying one month could be for Feb-11 alone. Actually the employer was earlier required to file form 3A & 6A annually prior to ECR system came in. The PF amount would not be appropriated/credited in employee account unless employer submits form 3A/6A even after making the payment. Therefore, you will have to check the status of these forms whether filed or not by the employer with PF dept.
Though its the responsibility of the employer but as employee you can just keep on lodging the complaint with PF department but the payment would be possible only upon crediting the amount in your account only.

Follow mrn sharma’s advice. That is practical. Others are theoretical. EPFO is not in the habit of replying, especially emails, more so in Gujarat.

Dear All,

I would like to thank you all for your quick response and valuable suggestion to solve my queries. now i got to know from PF office that my company irresponsible Persons had opened my 2 PF Account, one for February 2011 and one for March 2012 onwards. The applied withdrawal PF no. was for Feb 11 which was not known to me and that shows of one month remittance and no one is finding the cause of this problem of settlement. now as per PF officials i have to inform the Company HR Persons to merge both the account and then i can make it withdraw or transfer to my current Pf Account.

Now its one more question is that after merging both the previous accounts, who will make that account transfer to my current PF account. whether its the responsibility/authority of previous employer or current employer to merge previous account to current account ? and in my PF account gets transferred whether my pension account will be transferred or not. ? Please suggest
