Dear All,
I have two queries regarding pension fund part of the provident fund.
Firstly in case of transfer of pf from one company to another does employer share to pension fund that was deposited in the last company also get transfered to pension fund or not?
Secondly what happens to interest on employer share to pension fund ?
Kindly advise on both the queries
Thanks & Regards

first of all rate of interest is provided on 12%+3.67% , no rate of interest is provided on 8.33% i.e contribution towards EPS (Employee Pension Scheme) . Thanks & Regards, From, Sumit Kumar Saxena
Dear Mr. Mohla,
First, when a EPF Member's Provident Fund is transferred from old a/c to new one, at the same time the Pension Fund also got transfer in the same new a/c.
The particulars of transferred fund is mentioned on Annexure- K which is sent to the member. If the member don't have the same, then (s)he may contact the EPFO to provide Annexure- K.
Second, no interest provided by the EPFO on Pension Fund. The interest is paid only on Provident Fund which is 12%+3.67%.
Hope this will fulfill your query.

Agreed with Bhuwan C Arya it is form 13 which is required for transfer of EPF/EPS accumulation which is enclosed for the reference. Thanks & Regards, From, Sumit Kumar Saxena

Dear bcarya, recently one of my friend has shown me his e passbook whereineewherein his and his employer share has been transfered to his new pf account but amount diverted to pension fund is shown as .nil.kindly advise on the same. thanxs n regards c.m.mohla
Dear Mr. Mohla,
I've also seen the same that the EPFO is not showing the Transferred Pension Fund Amount in the Member Passbook.
But, need not to worry in that regard. The amount of Pension Fund Transferred will be mentioned on the Annexure- K.
So, if you have the Annexure- K, then keep it safe and if you don't have, claim for the same from the concern EPFO.

Dear Mohla,
Greetings for the day,
Annxexure K is required only for those whose EPF fund is managed by the PF trust, not by EPFO in the case where we have EPF trust they only managed 12%+3.67% which is EPF part but for EPS whole accumulation was managed by EPFO i.e 8.33% so for transfer of accumulation form 13 is required which was already enclosed.
Thanks & Regards,
Sumit Kumar Saxena

Dear Mr. Saxena, In pf pass book the amount diverted to pension fund is showning as zero. Can you pls. advise the possible reason for the same. Thanks & Regards C.M.Mohla
Dear Saxena Ji,
I think, you were misinterpreted about Annexure- K. It is also provided while transferring fund from one EPFO to another one.
Dear Mr. Mohla,
If you don't have the copy of Annexure- K, then you may directly write to the concern EPFO for providing you Duplicate Annexure- K. Or simply you may also put-up a RTI for details of payment transferred to Pension a/c along with the copy of Annexure- K.
