Hi everyone,
I'm currently doing a 4th year assignment on HRM in SMEs.
I'm hoping to find a case study on a smaller sized company and their HR practices. It would be great if it included a few if not all of the 5 functions. Also, it fits in better with what I'm doing if their is no HR Manager but someone who covers the role like a general manager.
I have searched for ages without much luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think it would be better if you used your own company's functions. You can look at how you implemented solutions in each of those functional areas. The key things to be documented would be:-
Schedule / Timeline for the implementation
Methodology used and why (justification)
Issues & Challenges faced and how you resolved them in the context of your organization.
If you are looking at HR, the key functions would be
Recruitment & Selection
Training & Development
Human Resource Information Systems
Compensation & Benefits
Occupational Safety, Health & Security
Organizational Development / Behaviour
Performance Management
Implementation of statutory regulations at the workplace (Employment related laws etc.)
