Dear Seniors,
Our Manufacturing facility is being shifted to new location in Bangalore, Karnataka.
Also the name of the company is also changed but management & staff employees remains same.
I request our seniors clarification on following activities:
1. We have to surrender our old factory licence & need to apply for new licence.
2. PF number has to be transferred to Regional Office of present area. Can we transfer for new location Since we have changed name?
Request your views on these.

Dear
you have to take another factory license when you change the location. Even if you have same name and just change your manufacturing process to next plot than also you are required to take fresh license. You have to get the factory map approved and requires building stability ,so all these things will change.
so you require fresh license.
Regarding your second query ,please clear whether you have change name as our own or in the record you have made some mergers or you have made changes as own.however you have to take fresh PF code and get the PF transfer

Dear Member,
As regards to your second query, it is to be noted that the code No. is alloted to an establishment and covers all its departments and branches. Thus, the same No. can be continued for your manufacturing facility. Depending on your administrative convenience, you can request concerned RPFC to allow you to comply with a particular PF Office. In the process, RPFC may also allot separate code no. if required.

Dear Friends,
Please also let me know, if a company is acquired by another company, and both occupier and manager of the factory are changed though there is no change in the location and construction, what is going to be the procedure for changing the ownership?
just a notice of change will suffice the purpose along with transfer of factory licence?
