Hi
If your weekly off is a paid holiday, there is no need to pay anything. But if your calculation doesnt include weekly off day, then you have to pay a day wages or a day off which has to be incorporated in your list of holiday 2014. National hoildays are fixed and considered as paid hoildays. So better to give a day's wage or a day off would suffice to address this.

Dear Chavan,
No need to pay double payment on your query day, if national holiday falls in Weekly off that day we can consider as regular weekly off or Holiday(single payment). If suppose any employee was working in national holiday day we should give Compensatory off or OT pay.
Thanks,
A.Jerome

Dear, As it appears, you are having weekly holiday on sunday and 26th January 2014 is also a sunday. So, no additional payment or holiday for any body having weekly holiday on 26th. If any body is required to be working on that day, then you have to see the provision in the standing orders applicable to you and decided accordingly. KK
