Dear Experts., We are a contractor firm doing fabrication activities in all over India. There is no permanent factory or site for our projects because we are service provider at oil depot and terminals of IOC,BPC,HPC. More than 150 manpower working with us (skilled, unskilled, graduate ) and we are providing PF, ESI and following welfare activities. In this case, we need your clarification whether should we register under Factory Act?
Please help us...
If you are working in the factory till yet and principle employer is forcing you to register then you have to register, and if you are working as sub. contractor and principle employer is maintaining you employees in their register then no need to register under factory act.
