Dear All,
Please help me with the contract labour rules for construction companies. what are the steps HR has to take at site to get contract labour registration, charges, deposits if any etc.
what else is applicable to construction site related statutory requirement. what are the deduction will come in payroll for construction temporary and permanent workers.

Dear Rajiv ,
as per your query firstly you have to register your company as principle employer in labour office ( RC) after that you can process contract labour licensce issuing form V to contractor.
in construction site you have to maintain register under contract labour Viz.: ( wages cum attendence , bonus, leave, deduction, damages, etc)
secondly safety register and BOCW lisence also need under that have to collect all names of contract employees, with fill forms and submit to labour office
