Dear Ganesh
NMR or Nominal Muster Roll means any `daily wage employee' or any person who is employed on the basis of payment of daily wages.
It may also includes a person employed on consolidated pay either, on full-time or part-time or piece-rate basis or as a work-charged employee.
The employment is of a casual nature.
Many PSU's/government departments regularize the NMR workers after a specified period or upon completing 240 days in a year; or whenever a post is vacant and the NMR fulfils the eligibility criteria.
I have not come across any specific guidelines or rules about this in private sector companies.
Hope others will be able to shed more light on it.
Warm regards.

Dear Ganesh
I am unable to understand the purpose of your query. You could have given more information on the background and reasons on what type of information you are looking for.
However, in your next post you have asked whether NMR experience can be included in a Resume. I think this is your real query.
Yes, any experience which is related with a job; can be and should be included in one's resume.
Experience never goes waste and is always useful in letting others know about one's capabilities and potential.
By all means include it in your resume. What is important is not the status or type of the employment contract that you had with a company; but the nature of your job and your accomplishments.
Warm regards.

Dear Ganesh
Thanks for the update.
Since you already have an experience cert. of Admin. Astt. working on NMR; there is absolutely no problem in showing this experience and certificate.
Wish you all the best.
