I have applied for PF transfer eight months ago. My old employer is telling that we have send it to PF Mumbai, call Mumbai to know the status. What to do? Please help.

Hi,
PF transfer from one region to other region is a tough job and employee has to on his own follow up the matter with the respective PF office as the neither present employer nor previous employer willtake burden of taking follow up in the matter. What you need is the signed copy of form No. 13 ( transfer form), Acknowledgement recipt having submitted the form to the RPFC of the previous employer. Copy of the annexures (contribution cards, form no. 5, form no.10 be obtained from the previous employer.) Write a letter to the RPFC F&A attaching copie sof all the documents. Lateron you may ask for information under RTI.

Hi,
when any employer submitte our P F widrawal form to PF office , pf office gives receipt NO.& date of submission of acceptance of form.
Just ask you employer what is your PF submitted forms receipt NO. & date.
Accordingly you can inquire in any of the PF office in India as it is central law.
Suppose your employer not provide above detail than plz fill up new form from no- 19 & 10 C for pension & direct submittee it to PF office . Also put one application regarding your employer had not given any proper response that only I direct submittee it to PF office. (Nearest of your area)
Because in that case PF office will send that form to employer for process .it is mendetory. PF office will help you because it is their duty.

Dear Sir,
I want to transfer my previous pf. I have left my previous organisation in feb 2007. i have pf no. also.
But the problem is that my previous co. is based at calcutta. they are sending pf to west bengal pf office.
our office branch is at mumbai. i was in mumbai, but pf goes to west bengal pf office. i want to transfer pf to my current organisation.
please help in this.

Hi Archana,
As P.F is central Law , you did not worry about different location.
As far as P.f transfer is concerned you have to fill up form no.13 ( in which you required details of [1] your last pf account No. which you mentioned you already have .[2] your last company's pf account no. You can get it from your last company's hr / payroll person.
Than give that form to your current employer.
Location is no matter in pf transfer or withdrawal.

My previous PF A/C was in kolkata, west bengal, now I am parmanently staying in gorakhpur, UP. I have resigned my previous company 2 years ago. But I did not transfer or withdraw PF amount till now. Tell me, is my previous PF account is working /alive till now or not? If alive, how can I withdraw PF amount from gorakhpur?
