I need some suggetion from you all.
One of the condidate he done his graduation(BE) in computer science(2009 passed out), after his graduation he did one year training program 2010 to 2011.
Then he had 1 year career gap(2011 to 2012). On 2012 he joined as HR till last month.
He is having greate Passion on Programming so he done course on programming and got selected in our Technical round interview but now in HR round what step we have to take, whether we have to give importance to his talent or HR rules (IT companies will not consider those who have career gap).
Kindly guide, is there any way for him to get through this phase.

Mostly Big Indian MNC’s hesitate to consider more than 2 years Gap. But many foreign MNC’s and Small Indian MNC’s only consider talent.

I think you didn't got me. I want to say that if you want to start your career in IT then, you can start it from small MNC's which are in abundance in Bangalore. They will judge you only by your technical knowledge. I know so many people who are working in MNC's(Big and small both) and not even graduated. and moreover I also faced such kind of problem in beginning of my career. My problem was I was having one year gap in between my 10th and 12th. My marks were good, I never failed but as per no education gap policy I was rejected in TCS, Atos Origin etc. at final stages. But later after around 8 months of struggle I have joined a small IT company. Currently I have 2.5 years of Experience and working with decent MNC and also awaiting offer from worlds biggest Computer Hardware/Software producer Hewlett Packard. So, never give up there is no specific start point.
