Hi i would like to know the following regarding the deployment of contract labour on the organization where central rules applies: 1. effect not taking labour licence by principal employer even contractor are registered in labour dept. when he was in other organization and licence in valid. 2. on change of principal employer by contractor is it mandatory to intimate to labour dept? in this condition is he required to take new registration from labour dept under new principal employer. 3. how much penalty can be imposed on nonregistering principal employer in labour dept. 4. contractor registered in state labour dept may work in the organization where central rule applies. please help me regarding the above thanks & regards

Dear seniors our company is in the field of engineering design & head office at pune. only for technical support six months back they have opened this office at chennai with the strength of seventy four employees. salary pf & esi etc including electronic attendance will be handled from pune itself. now pls explain whether it is mandatory to register our company in tamil nadu labour department. kindly note all the labour related documents will be handled by ho. since they have registered with maharashra labour dept. why we have to register here at chennai & maintain all the records. please treat this urgent & expecting your valuable answers
