Hi,
I am Shadab from Internshala (Internship, Summer Internship, Summer Training for students | Internshala), an internship portal.
Lately, we have receiving feedback from employers (who recruit interns through Internshala) that many of the candidates are not joining even after confirming offers. This is of course a very serious problem.
Could anyone suggest a way to address this problem? And how can we ensure that a particular candidate would join or not?

Dear Shadab, I think you should start investigate the REASONS of not joining internship. I think the result will help you to sort out this issue Regards

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for the advice. There are various reasons--
1. Change in plan
2. Landing a better opportunity
3. Providing false info (like, many say that they would be available when actually they're not)
And when they do not show-up, employers call them, write to them-- but they do not get a response!

When you are aware of the reasons, did you address the same to the employer, secondly why don't you take corrective steps to avoid the above mentioned reasons, say by taking undertaking that the candidate should not back out, no last minute change in plan allowed etc.
