In my opinion, PF Enf. officer can ask for inspection of any document where Labour component is envolved in order to find out if any labour engaged for that particular work has been extended with the benefits under the Schemes of EPF &MP Act.
However, management can ask for his remarks on the Inspection Register maintained by the Estt. after the inspection is over. Beside a copy of the EO ,s report can be asked for if any enquiry is held u/s 7-A.
Non production of records may lead to complications at a later stage.

Yes, the Employer has all the rights to have copies of all documents which are being relied by the RPFC in conducting 7-A proceedings. Chandok
