Dear all .,
To this forum now every one giving as a first preference because of it's contributing Members & their sincerity and seriousness towards safety aspects.
Because of some personal reasons I could not join this in last few months but henceforth I will be available for contributing / raising various queries to on this forum .
Now I am in want of Indian standard for Ladders . and eagar to learn from seniors . I am looking for rule/criteria for following parameters .
-MOC
-Top platform height of railing
- Ladder wheels safety
-lever mechanism for ladders
-Capacity ( Kg.)

-Height of Platform

-No of Steps ( Nos )

-Base Frame Length

-Base Frame Width

- Overall height
- Wheel dimension
- Length of steps
- Depth of steps
- Spacing between two steps

Mostly Aluminium ladders are preferrable
Portable ladders should not be more than 20 feet
safe angle to place ladders are 75 degrees
Always face ladders during ascending and descending
If ladders are more than 9 mts(Fixed ladders) they should be provided with crinoline
ex: Boiler chimney ladders
