Hi All,
I have worked in a ltd company as a permanent staff for more than 4.5 years. Due to some issues with my boss I am not attending duties for the past two months. Two days back I have submitting my resignation.
With out getting acknowledgement as received and accepted the company has deleted my offical email ID. When asked HR about serving notice period, they said not required. Normally 90 days is the notice period.
Now my point is how to convey this with the new employer when asked about the reasons for quit the job.

Hello Gotivar,
You didn't mention IF you got your Relieving & Experience Letters & F&F settlement.
Reg what to mention to the next Employer, you can tell them 'due to personal reasons', you had to quit.
However, depending on your comfort-level, you can also tell the ACTUAL reason. Some companies understand & take a sympathetic view of such situations, while some MAY NOT.

Hi Gotivar,
You are not compel to tell your reason of quitting unless it is asked. If you are asked the reason, you can tell the most common answer that is "For seeking good opportunity" or want to more exposure etc. but never explain your issue with your ex-boss to your potential boss.

Well, simply you can say that you didn't find it easy to focus on searching a better opportunity while continuing the job and then you decided to leave the job and focus on searching a better opportunity.

Well, you have not report to job around 2 months, and you did not mention what was the problem between you and your manager, being absent from the job around 2 months, without any valid reason could put you in trouble. Pease describe all the situation to people whom put comments into this question, and then I think they could be in a good position to respond you.

I feel most of the times this question is asked to know just to understand the reason. Some times our answer will lead to some other questions and further probe of our character or perosnality. Certainly it shall be convincing when you come out without a job in hand but some circumstances might have compelled you to do so. Please sit relaxed and develop a strong and reasonable reply, so you will not have further hurdle. But do not try to bluff.

I Think you should try to approach your previous employer once again and try to take your resignation signed and ask them to give you reliving letter and experience letter.
With these two things in your hand you can definitely face the job interview with giving them a reason of "you didn't find it easy to focus on searching a better opportunity while continuing the job and then you decided to leave the job and focus on searching a better opportunity.
this will save you from answering to their unavoidable questions which they might ask in absence of these documents.

I agree with Mr. Taj Sateesh. When you tell 'personal reasons', it is understood & no one can force you to explain what personal reasons that lead to quit the job.
\My advice is that you need to maintain a very good relation with the employer & that will be an added advantage for your future career.

Dear Members,
As you all suggested I requested my previous employer to give the acceptance of resignation along with relieving letter.
When I am calling them and explaining the need of getting it they say ok but not giving reply to my resignation mail.
Will there be any employer to hire candidates just based on mail copy of resignation from employee ?
In this scenario kindly advise me what to do ?
