A month back, I appeared for an interview at ICICI Bank for Relationship Manager - ETRG Group through a reputed consultancy firm in Mumbai. The consultant put me a mail confirming that I have been selected and asked for my PAN Card and last 3 month salary slip. Its over a month now and the consultancy have not heard anything from ICICI Bank HR Team. They told me that ICICI releases the offer letter after checking the CIBIL Report and back ground verification. My CIBIL score is very good and backgrounds too are very clean. Whenever I follow with the consultant, they say I should accept if I have any offer in hand because there is no confirm timeline within which I can get the offer letter. It may take a week, a month or even I may not get the offer letter. I am just trying to understand if it really takes so long to release the offer letter or should I take it as a lost opportunity.

why do they check your CIBIL report? May be your job consultant is misleading you. Better directly communicate with ICICI if you know their HR email or look elsewhere. Pon

@Tashu111 No..I did not got any offer letter. I stopped following the consultancy. They even stopped taking calls from my no. I tried reaching ICICI HR Team to get the clarity but there was no clear communication from there side as well.
