Is gratuity amount payable to an employee in case of death before 6 months of service
Hi Paras,
In the normal course the Gratuity is payable on completion of 5 yrs of continuous service, but provision to section 4.1 states
"the completion of continuous service of five years shall not be necessary where the termination of the employement is due to death or disablement."
This makes the deceased employee eligible for gratuity.

so for how many years should the Gratuity be paid as the employee has not completed even 6 months from Date of Joining
Paras,
I don't have any say on this its a typical case. As per the act any period less than six months does not amount to a completed year however period more than six year does add as one complete year.
E.g. gratuity for an employee who has completed 5 years and 7 months will be calculated as if he has completed six years, where as the calculation will be 5 years if the employee has completed 5 years and 4 months.
