Jack_2013
Hi,
I have joined in company on jun 2013. I had worked just 4 months there, from Oct 2013 onwards i had sufferred from typhiod fever and my son also not well (suffered from heavy wheezing). So initially i had requested 4 days leave on Oct 9. Later due to some problem, I had not sent any mail to HR.
I got registered post from company to my permenant address on 3 days ago. I am in hospital, so unable to collect the letter. So I decided to resign the job and sent resignation letter to HR on Oct 29.
Now the postman will return the registered post back to company.
May I know what company will take next step on me. What I can do to get relieving from company.
As per company policy, I need to survive 90 days notice period and also shift is latenight. So as per my health condition, I cannot work daily 9 hours latenight.
So please help me to get releive from this problem. Note: I dont need releiving letter from this company, As i will not go to IT company further.
Thanks
Raja

Dear Raja,

The first of all plz. tell us that, on one hand you are saying that you got a letter from your company regarding absconding and on second hand you are saying that you are unable to collect the letter as you were in hospital..!! So, how do you know that it was for absconding. If somebody from your HR informed you about this, then it is different thing and just forget about it.

As you have mentioned that you are working there since last 4 months only, so might be you are in probation period. During Probation period, the terms and conditions for leaving the services might be different. So, read your appointment letter carefully and then share with us.

If still you will need to give 90 days notice period, then there is no substitute. But, as you have mentioned that you don't want any re-leaving letter from your employer than you can do simply one thing. Just send your Resignation Letter to them through Registered Post. And specifically mention that you have so-n-so health problem and you are in hospital, due to which you was not able to send any leave application. You are not convenient with the late-night shift and it also effected your health. So, you want to tender your resignation. Thank you very much. That's it, and forget the 9 days salary.
