There are some conditions for PF deduction and it;s optional for employees and they opt or not opt for deduction of PF and often the companies do not offer PF for the contract employees. Better, if you consult with your HR once.

It is mentioned that Mr.SKJ789 is working in a Local Self Government Department on contract basis. Whether the said Local Self Government is covered under EPF & Misc. Provisions Act or State Government Rules are applicable ? It has not been clarified.
However, in my opinion, the terms and conditions of contract will apply in such cases.
