So we do not have any such proof like press notification or interview testimonial. Will the Embassy accept online interviews and job posts etc..??

Just go for an BGV check including his credentials(Educational,nationality,employment, criminal records)..so that atleast you can be satisfied that you had done justice to the hiring apart from the selection. You are not getting VOIP professionals in india and have to hire from Bangladesh ?
This does not ring true and the embassy / work permit department is not likely to accept that either.
There are a number of people here who have worked on and are working on VOIP projects.
Looks like you are getting someone cheaper there then you will get in India ......
I am not sure if that is a ground for employing foreign nationals in India.
(unless some bilateral treaty has been signed with Bangladesh for employment)
